To activate notifications, go into your account → settings and mark what kind of notifications you want to get. Choose “Site” to get the common notification icons you know from e.g. facebook or instagram. You can also choose to get notifications by e-mail.

I hope to offer the app (for free) in the Android and iOS shops. Unfortunately, this costs money, and I don't have a budget for The Dubbook, so I don't know yet.
An Android shop listing costs 25€, so that's in reach. Apple asks 99€ per year though. That's not feasible. If there are people who want an iOS app version of The Dubbook, I need to collect 99€ per year in donations. I'd be happy to do it, but I personally don't have an iPhone, so I'm not willing to pay 99€ per year to offer an iPhone app. I hope you understand.

Please test for me: Does your “inbox” work (the mail icon in the green header area)? I get a “fatal error” on my admin account since this morning out of nowhere (still worked fine last night). My second test account has no problems though, so I don't know if this is a general issue. Please click on “Report this” at the bottom of the page and write in the text field your username and whether your inbox works or not. Thanks!
During open beta phase, all registrations will be validated manually by me, so that I get an overview about potential spammers. Ignore the red “error” message that is shown. Depending on my work and sleep schedule, the validation might take a little while.
